The Legal Documentation and Information Network, hereinafter abbreviated as JDIH, is a system for utilizing statutory regulations and other legal documentation materials in an orderly, integrated and sustainable manner and is a means of providing complete, accurate, easy and fast legal information services.


Legal Documents are legal products in the form of statutory regulations or legal products other than statutory regulations which include but are not limited to court decisions, jurisprudence, legal monographs, legal magazine articles, legal books, legal research, legal studies, academic texts, and draft legislative regulations. Legal Information is all data and information contained in Legal Documents. Legal Information System, hereinafter abbreviated to Siskum, is a system for managing a database of statutory regulations. Legal Documentation and Information Management is the activity of collecting, processing, storing, preserving and utilizing legal information.

In order to disseminate regional legal products, based on the provisions of Article 171 of Presidential Regulation Number 87 of 2014 as amended by Presidential Regulation Number 72 of 2021 concerning Amendments to Presidential Regulation Number 87 of 2014 concerning Implementing Regulations of Law Number 12 of 2011 concerning the Formation of Legislative Regulations -invitation, Dissemination can be done via electronic media; print media; face-to-face forums or direct dialogue; and/or legal documentation and information network. Central Java Provincial DPRD Secretariat as an effort to disseminate product information, especially Legal Products produced by DPRD, the JDIH Website of Central Java Provincial DPRD Secretariat is the solution.

The legal basis for JDIH management includes Presidential Regulation Number 33 of 2012 concerning the National Legal Documentation and Information Network, Minister of Home Affairs Regulation Number 2 of 2014 concerning Management of the Legal Documentation and Information Network of the Ministry of Home Affairs and Regional Government and Regulation of the Minister of Law and Human Rights of the Republic Indonesia Number 8 of 2019 concerning Legal Document and Information Management Standards.

The existence of the Central Java Provincial DPRD Secretariat JDIH Website will certainly have a positive impact on the National Legal Documentation and Information Network (JDIHN) system in particular and the wider community in general. The availability of legislative regulations and legal documents will also be an encouragement for the development of legal literature among DPRD members in the future. Apart from that, the effectiveness of the services provided by the DPRD Secretariat to the community will also increase with the presence of the JDIH website at the Central Java Province DPRD Secretariat. With this website, it is hoped that it will make it easier for the wider community to access regional legal products produced by the DPRD.

The Legal Product Services that we present through the JDIH Website certainly still have many shortcomings and are far from perfection, for this reason we expect criticism and suggestions from all JDIH DPRD users of Central Java Province for the sake of perfect legal information in the future to provide better legal information services that meet the needs of the community wide.
