Ratings and reviews

So far, I totally love Jenius Bank. They are affiliated with a very reputable bank SMBC. Applying was super easy and fast. Some online banks deny applications for no clear reason, but Jenius didn't do that. Currently, rates are among the very best, and you can start at only $100. App is easy to use, and I was quickly able to set up an external bank for transferring money in/out. I, so far, recommend them highly.

After the last update, the app crashed every time after I verified the transfer request by text code, the app in the middle of completing the transfer request crashed. I had to login website to submitting the transfer. It has not done that before in app.

I strongly recommend avoiding Jenius Bank. I received a personal loan from them just last week and I am already working with my real bank to send a check to repay the loan in full because they have been so difficult to work with. I am not able to login to the website or app and customer service has been unhelpful. They will not give me any information about the loan so I can make payments, such as account number, amount or due date. They refuse to send me information by email or mail.
