# Jeter Player: The Ultimate High-Performance Video Player

Experience the fastest, most fluid video player designed for massive local libraries. Whether you have hundreds or thousands of videos, Jeter Player launches instantly and keeps your experience distraction-free. No lags, no clutter—just pure immersion.

### 🚀 Built for Speed, Optimized for Scale
Most players slow down as your library grows. Jeter Player is different. Built from the ground up to handle massive collections, it scans folders in seconds and caches metadata locally for an instant-on experience.

### 🌌 Key Features for Power Users
* **Recursive Folder Browsing:** Organize and browse your content exactly how it’s stored on your device.
* **Smart Bookmarks with Memos:** Don't just save a timestamp—add a note to remember why that moment mattered. Access them directly from your Home screen.
* **Private Vault:** Keep sensitive videos out of sight. Long-press to move files into a private, app-only space locked behind Fingerprint, Face Unlock, or PIN.
* **Jeter Lab (Beta):** Experience the future of playback with **AI Frame Interpolation** (smooth 30fps to 60fps), Network Streaming (SMB/WebDAV), and GIF/MP4 clip capture.
* **Short Clips View:** A dedicated space to quickly find and enjoy all your videos under 60 seconds.

### 🛠 Seamless Control & Customization
* **Intuitive Gestures:** Swipe for volume/brightness, horizontal swipe for scrubbing, and double-tap to seek. Long-press for 2× speed.
* **Picture-in-Picture:** Keep watching in a floating window while you use other apps. (Background audio with the screen off is part of Lifetime Access — see below.)
* **Dynamic UI:** Support for Android’s Dynamic Color, adjustable UI scales, and Light/Dark themes.
* **Hearing Protection:** Configurable headphone volume limits to keep your ears safe.

### 💎 Lifetime Access: One Payment, Yours Forever
Unlock the full experience with a single one-time purchase—no subscription, nothing to renew:
* **Ad-Free Playback:** No banners and no interstitial interruptions, ever.
* **Background & Lock-Screen Playback:** Keep the audio going with the screen off or while you use other apps.
* **The Full Toolkit:** Unlimited video compression, Dropbox backup, and screen recording.
* **Or try it free:** Watch a short rewarded ad to get a 30-minute Plus Pass and use the same premium features—no purchase required.

### 📂 Technical Specs & Compatibility
* **Powered by Media3/ExoPlayer:** Support for MP4, MKV, AVI, MOV, FLV, WebM, TS, and more.
* **Video Codecs:** H.264, H.265 (HEVC), VP9, AV1 and more are decoded by your phone's own decoders, so support depends on your device.
* **Built-in Audio Decoders:** AC-3, MP3, Opus, Vorbis, FLAC and ALAC play with sound even on phones that can't decode them natively. AAC is always supported.
* **Not Supported:** E-AC-3, TrueHD and DTS / DTS-HD audio require paid licenses. If a video uses one of them, Jeter tells you which format it is and how to convert it.
* **Smart Decoding:** Automatic (recommended) uses hardware first and falls back to the built-in decoders; you can also force Hardware-only or prefer Software decoding.
* **Backup & Sync:** Connect Dropbox to back up your settings, bookmarks, and playlists effortlessly.
