About this app

Keep riders safe. Keep jet skis where they belong.

JetskiBuddy is the companion app for the JetskiBuddy hardware safety system. Draw geofence boundaries on an interactive map, configure speed limits and safety settings, then export everything to an NFC tag with a single tap. Once the tag is on your jet ski, the onboard system enforces your rules automatically. No phone is needed on the water.

DRAW SAFE & RESTRICTED ZONES
Drop points on a map to create custom geofence polygons. Define Safe Zones where riders can operate freely and Restricted Zones they must avoid.

SET SPEED LIMITS
Configure a top speed for within your safe zone and a separate restricted speed for outside it. Choose between imperial (mph) and metric (km/h) units. Speeds are enforced by the onboard hardware, and riders can’t override them.

COLLISION PREVENTION
Enable Low, Medium, or High collision prevention sensitivity. The onboard system adjusts throttle response to help avoid accidents.

SET A HOME BASE
Mark your dock, marina, or rental location on the map. Home base coordinates are written to the NFC tag along with your geofences.

ONE-TAP NFC EXPORT
When your configuration is ready, tap “Write to NFC Tag” and hold your phone to an NTAG215 tag. Your entire setup — geofences, speed limits, safety settings, and home base — is saved to the NFC tag. The jet ski reads the tag and enforces your settings automatically.
