About this app

Tired of tapping the same button over and over? Touch Recorder remembers your taps and swipes for you, then plays them back as many times as you want — at the speed you choose.

Record once. Replay forever. Your fingers thank you.

Works on Android 7.0 and up. No root needed. No computer needed.

What you can do
- Record any tap, swipe, or sequence of touches on your screen
- Play it back with your chosen speed and how often it repeats
- Set a wait time between each replay
- Combine several recordings into one long routine
- Use the floating buttons to start, stop, or edit a recording while you are still in your game or app
- See how many taps have run and how long the recording has been playing
- Use the built-in calculator to find out how long a recording will take
- Switch to dark mode, follow the quick onboarding tour, find your way around fast

Main features

Record
- Tap, swipe, do whatever you want — Touch Recorder watches and remembers
- Give your recording a name, pick the speed, set how long to wait between replays
- Replay exactly the way you recorded — or change the settings before you save

Merge recordings
- Stitch several recordings together into one big routine
- Set the order, the wait time between each, and the speed
- Build long sequences out of short, simple ones you already saved

Change settings while playing
- Tweak the speed or wait time without stopping playback
- Changes take effect right away, no restart, no flicker

Floating control buttons
- Play, Stop, Edit, and Switch-to-Record buttons stay on top of your screen
- Always visible while you use other apps
- Small enough not to get in the way

Premium (optional)

Touch Recorder is free with ads. Upgrade to Premium to remove ads and unlock smart stop rules:

- Stop on low battery — pick a battery percentage. Playback stops automatically when your battery drops below it.
- Stop when offline — playback stops automatically if your phone loses internet.
- Stop and lock — when one of the rules above fires, your phone screen locks too.
- On-screen status — a small bar shows which stop rules are turned on and your current battery level.
- App-Aware Playback — tag touches to specific apps. Playback waits for the right app to appear, waits for it to load, then taps. Stops if the app never shows up.
- Touch timeline — open any recording on a timeline. See each step with the app it was captured in, and tweak the wait time or app lock for any single step.
- No more ads anywhere in the app.

Pick what fits you: Weekly, Monthly, or Yearly subscription — or pay once with Lifetime access. Subscriptions renew automatically through Google Play and you can cancel any time in Play Store > Subscriptions.

What we ask permission for

- Accessibility — this is what lets the app tap the screen for you. Without it, no auto-tap app can work on a phone that is not rooted.
- Display over other apps — so the floating control buttons can sit on top of your game or app.
- Notifications — to show a small status while a recording is playing, so you always know it is still running.
- Device Admin (only if you turn on "Stop and lock") — used to lock your screen when a stop rule fires.

We do not sell your information. Your recordings stay on your phone.

Great for
- Mobile games — daily logins, idle taps, claim buttons, repeat farming
- Long forms or surveys you have to fill out the same way every time
- Anyone with limited hand mobility who wants help with repeated taps
- Anything you would rather not tap a hundred times yourself

It's pretty easy to use, but it doesn't work at all. I could try to record a script, but it won't do anything. It isn't listed in the app, and trying to play it back from the overlay causes it to crash. Went into the App Details, and seems they forgot to request any permissions. Since they didn't even ask for file permission, there is no way to save scripts. Egregious mistake.

EDIT: dropping to 1 star. Excellent idea but very buggy. subsequent loops of a combined code do not execute all loops of scripts contained and after 1 day of use (as many report) you have to reinstall the app. However, i found that if you go into the scripts and just click save again without changing anything, the script will work again, no reinstall needed. This app should be in beta until these major bugs are worked out

The ability to merge scripts is awesome, it's too bad we can only merge recorded scripts. I wish I could recursively merge my merged scripts as well (the idea would be to build scripts with higher and higher levels of abstractions out of recorded scripts that only have 1 or 2 touches). Recording is pretty hard to get right though. Clicks are not always correctly taken into account (even when waiting correctly for the white overlay to appear), this makes the recording process really slow and unreliable, that's why I ended up recording one click at a time, and creating an insane merge script out of these tiny scripts. The app is still better than most other apps though. And 1 ad for 24h of usage is pretty fair. (FYI I'm using a Pixel 5)
