Jilinde is a Swahili word for "secure yourself".

The app have four basic features,
(a) to alert you of emergency situations based on your location;
(b) to help you find a wide array of first responders closest to you in case of a security emergency - Law enforcement, private security, doctors/clinicians, ambulances, beak-downs/towing, mechanics and road side assistance, fire and rescue, chief /ward representatives,
(c) help you subscribe to responding organizations such as workplaces, emergency subscriptions/covers,colleges for privileged response;
(d) help created focused emergency social groups or networks.
