Bauska AR is a mobile app that allows you to revive four important cultural heritage objects of Zemgale and Northern Lithuania, which no longer exist in nature: the Bauska Synagogue, the Bärbele sulfur furnace, the Iecava manor and Vairogmiesta with the Duke of Courland, Gotthard Ketler.
Using Augmented Reality (AR), historical 3D models are displayed in their historical locations, accompanied by authentic sound effects that allow you to feel the atmosphere of the time. In the app you can:
1 - Look at objects from certain places in nature
2 - Listen to stories and environmental sounds
3 - Save what you see on your smartphone
Bauska AR has been developed within the project LL-00061 "Reclaimed History" to make cultural heritage digitally accessible and attractive to both local residents and tourists.
