WHO WE ARE:
BAK is a member of the Reformed Evangelical Church of Australia. We serve The Word in Afrikaans.

The ministry is in Afrikaans because there is a great need among Afrikaans speakers to worship and serve God in their mother tongue. Spiritual growth takes place more easily where you study the Word in your mother tongue and live it out. In this way, pastoral care and counseling are also experienced more effectively if you can articulate your deepest emotions more easily in Afrikaans.

The church fulfills a major role as a support base for new immigrants who arrive in Australia with the associated adjustment problems and even trauma experienced.

WHAT WE BELIEVE:
Confession Foundation of the Reformed Evangelical Church of Australia.

The Reformed Evangelical Church of Australia stands within the broad Reformed tradition and therefore subscribes to the classic Reformed confessions viz. the Heidelberg Catechism, the Dordt Doctrine and the Dutch Creed as well as the Westminister "Confession".

We have also adopted a "Statement of Faith" which briefly indicates the core of our confession and can be viewed on our website. We also identify with the core values ​​and beliefs of the global Evangelical movement. These values ​​can be studied on our website.
