About this app

Hearth is a cozy fireplace you tend yourself: a living fire with crackling fireplace sounds for sleep, reading and quiet evenings. Keep it beside your morning coffee, let it glow while you read or work, or fall asleep to the sound of a crackling fire.

A LIVE FIRE, NOT A VIDEO LOOP
Add a log and watch the fire catch, roar, settle and glow down to embers. Birch, oak, pine and alder each burn with their own warmth and crackle. Every flame is simulated live, so no two fires look the same. Hold to blow on the fire and stir the flames.

FIRE SOUNDS FOR SLEEP AND RELAXATION
Layered fire sounds and scene ambience help you unwind: dry wood crackles and pops, rain falls on the window, and wind moves around a snowy cabin. Use Hearth as a calm sleep sound, a natural alternative to white noise, or soft fireplace ambience for reading and focus. Turn sound off whenever you like.

NIGHTSTAND MODE AND SLEEP TIMER
Put your phone beside the bed and Nightstand mode shows a quiet clock next to a close view of the fire. The sleep timer fades the fire and its sound after 15 minutes, 30 minutes or an hour.

YOUR FIRE KEEPS BURNING
Close the app and your fire carries on. Come back later to the same fire: still blazing, burned low, or down to glowing embers and ready for another log. Optional notifications can tell you when the fire is low.

CABINS, CAMPFIRES AND RAINY ROOMS
Start with three free scenes: a rainy reading room, a snowy cabin and a lakeside campfire under the stars. They move quietly too: rain runs down the glass, snow drifts past the window, and stars shimmer over the lake.

Hearth Pass adds twelve more: a forest glass cabin, a Christmas living room, Paris rooftops, a lighthouse keeper's room, a wizard's study, a village pub, a ryokan snow garden, an aurora lean-to, a beach bonfire, a garden fire pit, a haunted manor and a North Pole workshop.

HALLOWEEN AND CHRISTMAS
Each season's room is open to everyone while it lasts: the moonlit Haunted manor with its jack-o'-lanterns from October 24 to November 1, and the North Pole workshop from December 1 to January 6. Every Christmas, everyone also gets a Yule log to burn.

HEARTH PASS
One purchase, yours to keep: twelve more scenes, three Nightstand looks, and driftwood that burns with blue and green flames, with ten logs to start and three more each day. Restore your purchase any time.
