The app is only useful for basic control. The smart scripts don't work at all if the unit is powered off (like the action to turn it on and then set it's set point and fan speed just doesn't work). There's no easy way to have it detect humidity level while off so that it can trigger an action to turn on again even through the trigger is set up as such. There's also no easy way to just have it turn on in 2 or 4 hour intervals. The unit never turns off the fan, ever despite the manual. Terrible...

6-9-21 Review Changed... previous review was 1star. Somebody finally got something correct and now works mostly correct. The screen that shows humidity numbers are too big and stacked on top of one another. Also do not think the "automation" is working at all. Set to turn on at 55% and never does. I set timers for the unit to run a few hours a day. That part works great. Can finally set my location to get weather data now as well. Definitely a work in slow process.

First 10 minutes have been okay. It wanted me to restart my dehumidifier as soon as I started it up. I chose not to and it connected. Hooked up to Google Home well. I tapped the dehumidifier in the app, it said network error, waited a few minutes and it worked. The function button at the bottom says l18N@editspeed which doesn't make any sense and it doesn't do anything except let me edit the word speed. Hoping it tells me power failures and filter reminders and that I can do a lot w/ Google.
