iBoard – AAC Board is an Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC) app designed to support individuals who need help with daily communication. iBoard provides a clear, customizable board of tiles that speak aloud when tapped, helping users express themselves more easily.

Key Features

• Communication Boards – Create and organize boards with tiles for words, phrases, or symbols.
• Tile Customization – Add text, ARASAAC symbols, or uploaded images to match the user’s needs.
• Folder Tiles – Link tiles to other boards for structured navigation.
• Voice Output – Tap any tile to hear natural text-to-speech playback.
• Offline Access – Once signed in and cached (boards will display "Available Offline"), boards and tiles are available without an internet connection. This makes iBoard reliable in classrooms, therapy sessions, or areas with limited connectivity. Offline Mode is only available for 7 days and then requires internet connection to sync and cached again successfully. Currently no changes/updates can be made offline.
• User Profile – Update name, PIN, email, and preferences. Select available voices on your device for speech output.
• Editing Tools – PIN-protected menu for parents, teachers, or therapists to create, edit, reorder, and delete boards or tiles.
• Uploads – Add your own images for tiles and boards, stored securely per user.
• Accessibility – Designed with simplicity, fullscreen layout, and clear visuals to reduce distractions.

iBoard is designed for children, adults, families, and educators looking for a flexible AAC tool. It can support individuals with speech or language challenges, learning disabilities, or anyone who benefits from visual communication support.

Privacy and Data

• Users can request account and data deletion at any time through the dedicated link in the app.
• Personal data is stored securely and never shared with third parties for advertising.

Important Notes

• An internet connection is required for first-time sign-in and symbol search.
• Offline access to saved boards and tiles is available after login and successfully cached.
• Account deletion is permanent and cannot be undone.
