About this app

Grammaticus is the study aid specifically for Wheelock’s Latin, 7th Edition, currently available for Android devices. The app follows the text chapter by chapter, helping you to practice the grammatical forms for the model words, as well as all of the vocabulary. Macrons are required, and macron entry is extremely simple: just hold down the vowel key, or enter a capital letter. Grammaticus also has a handy glossary of the entire Wheelock’s vocabulary.

Does not display properly on my Motorola Edge 2024. Top and bottom are cut off, making buttons unavailable. Looks like a good app, if it would only work.

I love this app. I use it daily. Great help for Wheelock latin study. Excellent way to keep in touch with Latin forms while travelling. I could not be without this app. The app uses macrons and it is OK with me as macrons are very important. Some people underestimate them. I have the full version of the app Works great on my Android Moto G6 Play. Also, the app is nice in look and page layout. Jan., 2023 still the best and for those who do not like macrons, there is an option to turn those off.

Perhaps not the most intuitive arrangement, but a very good idea very well executed technically. Filling in the base (once it has been identified) for all subsequent forms helps keep the tedium out. Access to the entire books' paradigms and vocabulary would arguably be well worth the $10 being asked for the premium version.
