About this app

Heart Rate Variability Resonant Breathing is the fastest way to get into a deep meditative state by awakening the parasympathetic system. By following the breath pattern and finding the rate which is most comfortable for you, Resonance is established within a few minutes; potentially cutting out years of meditative struggle. This technique is giving you a handle on your own dorsal vagal parasympathetic system. Getting a handle on that system allows you to become successful in meditation automatically.

I love this app! It really has helped to take my meditation to a whole new level. I agree that the music that plays at the end of a session is loud and distracting. It disrupts the meditative state. I get around it by setting the timer for 35 minutes, or longer than I plan to go and then I use a timer on another app for a shorter time period that has a quiet gong or bell at the end. But other than that small issue it is a life changer.

Thanks for this. I will speak to Forrest to see if he wants to make changes. I am going to do development work on the app in October 2023. If you have any suggestions for changes let me know. Thanks John Goodstadt

Great app except that the music when a session end is very load and will not stop even when you go out of the app via the home button. You have to actually close the app by swipping to stop it. If this had an option to not use that music (just ending the bells) and stopped sounds when you were no longer in the app or running the exercise (the bells also keep going when you stop), this would rate higher.

For Android it if impossible to test on all devices. I have a few. One is a Samsung A10. You can switch off the flute/bell sound (is this what you mean by music?) from the options (bottom right 'I' icon). This will be for those that just want the visuals (will still have an end sound). I think this is what you are asking for - or am I mistaken?

Fantastic app! However, just like other users, I also noticed that the ending music can disrupt your deep state. It would be fantastic if a future update could include an option to toggle the ending music on/off. Edit - I'm using a Pixel 8 Pro, but I tested this on a couple other (Android) phones and it's the same issue everywhere.
