An old manor, empty for years. You push open the dusty parlour door — and find the cats already living there.

There was no reason to send them away. So instead, you decided to fix the place up for them.

Cattail Manor is a merge puzzle you never have to rush. Match things, bring rooms back to life, and share the place with the cats who come to visit.

■ Merge to build
Drop two of a kind together and get something better. A seedling becomes a bouquet; a plank becomes a chair. That is the whole rule, and five minutes is enough to feel at home with it.

■ Bring the rooms back
The parlour, the garden, the kitchen, the bedroom. Ruined rooms visibly change as you repair them — the whole illustration is redrawn at each stage, so there is always something new to uncover. And a key is hidden somewhere in every finished room. Find all four and a new area opens.

■ The cats come to you
Leave a toy out in the yard and cats will drop by. Throw a ball of yarn and one will dash after it, batting at it with both paws. Another will leap up onto the cat tower and settle in. Play with them and they leave paw prints behind before slipping back out the window.

■ Pet them, call them, name them
Press and hold, then stroke — the cat closes its eyes and starts to purr. Tap the floor and the nearest one wanders over to rub against your hand. Give the ones you love a name. It shows up in the album, in their stories, and in their speech bubbles.

■ Collect, fuse, grow
Every cat has a tier. Gather several of one tier and fuse them into a rarer cat. Your first copy of each cat is always protected and never used as material. The companion you choose grants a bonus to coins, energy or paw prints.

■ New coats every season
A season opens each month with costumes for your cats. Anything you buy stays yours after the season ends.

■ Good to know
· Free to play, with optional in-app purchases.
· Every drop rate and pity threshold for pulls and fusing is shown on the relevant screen inside the game.
· The game shows ads. Remove Ads or the Monthly Pass turns them off.
· The Monthly Pass is not an auto-renewing subscription — it simply ends after 30 days.
· Playable offline. A connection is only needed to purchase.
