About this app

Atomizer AR turns your Android phone or tablet into a portable quantum chemistry lab. Explore atomic and molecular orbitals in 3D, render electron density, and place molecules and orbitals on your desk in augmented reality.

WHAT YOU CAN DO

Explore atomic orbitals from real hydrogenic wavefunctions: 1s, 2p, 3d, 4f and beyond. The home screen opens on a molecule's highest occupied molecular orbital (HOMO).

View molecular orbitals (HOMO, LUMO and more) computed in the cloud and rendered as interactive isosurfaces.

Tap View in AR to place a ball-and-stick molecule or an orbital on a table with ARCore, then pinch to scale and twist to rotate. On devices without ARCore the same model opens in a 3D viewer.

Browse molecules such as water, benzene, methanol and ethene with energy diagrams, and build your own in the workbench.

Render electron density clouds with the Density tool.

Pair your phone with electronvisual.org on a computer using Atomizer Remote: enter the 4-letter code, then tilt your phone to turn the molecule on screen.

SUBSCRIPTIONS

Free: a few renders each period, plus the explorer and tools.
Californium Pass: 50 renders a month and all molecules and orbitals.
Einsteinium Pass: unlimited renders, priority queue, all molecules and orbitals.
Both passes come monthly or yearly; yearly plans include a free trial for eligible accounts.

Subscriptions are billed through Google Play and renew automatically until you cancel in Google Play, Subscriptions. No account is needed to subscribe. Sign in with the same account to use your membership in Electronify, on iPhone and iPad, and on electronvisual.org.

Atomizer AR needs an internet connection: molecules and orbitals are computed on electronvisual.org.
