Tangelo makes it easy to access affordable food prescriptions tailored to improve your health. As soon as you’re approved, we activate your food prescription and you can choose from healthy foods prescribed just for you!

Then we write a food prescription for the foods you should be eating less of and more of to improve your health!

We work with your health plan to get the cost of your personalized food prescription covered! More and more health plans across the country are covering the cost of prescribed healthy foods for their members. If your health plan doesn’t offer coverage, we offer a self-pay option using a nutrition incentive! And we accept SNAP-EBT!

Once we confirm your coverage, your prescribed food is delivered directly to your doorstep! While most users have had a good experience I've had anything but. While this is a great service and is appreciated, the delivery part has been a nightmare. I've only had 2 successful deliveries with instructions. One delivery was dropped off at some house which still hasn't been determined. The other one the guy couldn't figure out where he was so he never dropped it off. The rest were dropped off without informing me and 2 spoiled. There are other services exactly like this one time to move on

I managed to order once, and then I couldn't get the app open again because it kept crashing. Then I got a notice of a door dash delivery being ordered for $150. I cancelled it immediately thinking my info had been stolen, but it turns out it was my tangelo order. A little heads up that it would be delivered through door dash would have been nice. Now I can't make another order because the app wont open. It's a mess! I'll try to reinstall it and see if that helps.

They are SELLING you food bank quality food, you get little choice in what they give you, and with items like chopped chicken and getting one can of tuna in a "box" if you have any other choice than getting your things from this app, or their parent company. They are scammers that put you on their program so they can get the program funds and SELL you substandard food for high prices. When it comes to eating most are happy to get what they have. This app won't let you in, I've had problems alway
