OldMate is a personal CRM for the people in your life: friends, family, neighbours and the people you meet along the way. After a catch-up, say or type a quick note, and OldMate keeps who, where, what's new and any promise on that person's page, ready before you see them again.

A personal CRM, not a sales pipeline or an address book: OldMate doesn't read your phone's contacts, and a person appears once you've said something about them.

Saved contacts, notes, transcripts and recordings stay in the app and are backed up to your OldMate account. Signing in on a new phone restores text first; recordings download when played, or ahead if you turn on Download recordings ahead. Backup is always on while you are signed in. It catches up when you open or leave the app or pull to refresh Home. Deleting your account deletes the copy OldMate is holding.

When you create your account you agree to AI processing, once, for the account. Your voice streams through OldMate's voice service to OpenAI for live transcription, and text and relationship context go to OpenAI to organise notes and guide reflections. TypeSafe sorts notes and reflections as you write them and searches them by meaning. See our Privacy Policy for retention and choices.

An OldMate account and an internet connection are required for online processing. You must be 18 or older to use the AI features. Check AI-generated details before relying on them.

What’s new

Sign in with Google or a code sent to your email. OldMate is now a subscription: A$6.99 a month or A$59.99 a year. Everyone who joined before today keeps it free. Folio is now an index, with a colour for each person.
