An offline map of the Lake District National Park in England, ideal for hiking, running, mountain biking / cycling. Being offline means unlike other map apps, you don't need a signal to access detailed maps of the area.

UPDATE 13 JUNE 2020 app is no longer working, not sure why. I'm fed up with the utterly useless OS app that I decided to download this app. It has its limitations, for example you can't plan or track routes (hence a 4 star review not 5), but if you want a good clear map of the Lake District that you can use offline and that clearly and quickly pinpoints your location using GPS (with map coordinates) then this is a great app. I recommend purchasing the Pro version, which costs less than £2.

Paid for the pro version, total waste of time as it only zooms a wee bit more. Not worth it at all, stick with the free version

This app was updated in February 2023 , a lot of the details have disappeared, names of places names of tarns and lakes and also a lot of the routes have gone. Thanks for your reply, i never have any problems before the update great app thanks. I also use the paid for version aswell which has the same issue. 👍👍
