The Joobly Server transforms a cell phone or tablet into a local server for inventory counts performed with the Joobly Captures app.
During physical stock counting, collectors using Joobly Captures connect to this server via the local Wi-Fi network (simply scan the QR Code displayed on the server device). Thus, all collectors work completely offline: they send the scanned items to the server in real time, without each device needing internet access.
What the app does:
• Downloads inventory data (event, product catalog, and settings) from the Joobly cloud for use during operation.
• Makes this data available to collectors connected to the same local network, allowing for offline counting on each device.
• Receives and centralizes, in real time, the captures made by the Joobly Captures collectors.
• Stores all captures locally on the device, ensuring that the operation continues even without an internet connection.
• Automatically synchronizes collected captures with the Joobly cloud as soon as the server device has a connection.
• Displays the progress of the operation (items and parts captured) during the count.
Who it's for:
Internal tool for Joobly inventory teams, used in conjunction with the Joobly Captures app for physical counts performed in stores, distribution centers, and warehouses.
Note: This is a Joobly corporate application and requires access credentials provided by the company. It is not intended for the general public.
Joobly local inventory server: receives offline captures and sends them to the cloud.
