Ever fallen asleep on the train and missed your stop? NapStop is the location alarm that wakes you up right before you arrive.
Drop a pin on the map where you want to wake up, turn the alarm on, and sleep. When your train or bus reaches that area, NapStop rings loudly so you never miss your stop again.
HOW IT WORKS
1. Open the map and tap the point where you want the alarm to ring.
2. Adjust the radius and pick your transport: high-speed train, commuter train or bus.
3. Save the alarm, activate it and get some sleep.
4. When you enter the area, NapStop wakes you up.
KEY FEATURES
• GPS location alarm on Google Maps.
• Rings even in silent mode: it uses the system alarm channel, just like a clock alarm.
• Vibration and full-screen alert, even when your phone is locked and the screen is off.
• The alarm keeps repeating until you turn it off, so you don't fall back asleep.
• Backup alert when you leave the area, in case you slept through the first one.
• Adjustable radius based on transport speed, so the alarm is never skipped.
• Save your regular trips and reuse them.
• Works in the background and with the app closed.
• No ads, no sign-up, no accounts.
PERFECT FOR
• Long train and high-speed rail journeys.
• Intercity and commuter buses.
• Late-night rides home.
• Any time you want a nap without the fear of missing your stop.
LOCATION USE
NapStop collects location data to trigger your alarm even when the app is closed or not in use. Without this permission, the core feature of the app cannot work.
Your location is processed only on your device to detect arrival at the alarm area. NapStop does not send, share or store your location on any server.
TIPS
For the most reliable alarm, grant the "Allow all the time" location permission and disable battery optimization for NapStop. In tunnels or areas without GPS coverage the alert may be delayed, so place your alarm point a few minutes before your actual stop.
NapStop helps you rest during your trips, but it depends on GPS signal, battery and the operating system, so use it as a backup rather than your only method on critical journeys.
