CSManager puts you in charge of a tactical shooter esports club. You never aim or shoot: you sign the players, train them, look after the money and make the calls that decide every round.
THE MATCH
• Each map is played round by round in a 2D viewer, with the floor plan of the real map, players walking its routes and grenades landing where they are thrown.
• Before every round you pick a tactic: rush, default, eco, force or anti-eco. Each one costs a different amount and leans on different skills.
• The economy is the real thing. Round wins, kills, plants and the loss bonus pay for the next buy, so saving is a decision, not a punishment.
• At the break you set a game plan, focus your star, burn a timeout or read the rival's habits and counter them.
THE CAREER
• Take an amateur club up the divisions, season by season. The top two are promoted and the bottom two go down.
• Every season has its LAN events, closed by the Major.
• A sponsor and the board set you targets. Miss them and you may be looking for a smaller club.
• Choose easy, normal or hard, and keep three careers going at once.
THE CLUB
• Scout the transfer market, negotiate wage and contract length, and sign. Rival clubs will bid for your best players too.
• Train every week and balance morale, fatigue and chemistry: form is the biggest lever you have.
• Every player has a role — AWPer, entry, IGL, support or lurker — and a balanced five beats five stars playing the same job.
• Hire backroom staff, upgrade the gaming house and open an academy that raises its own prospects.
THREE ERAS
Start a career in the golden age of 1.6, the boom of GO or the modern era, each with its own clubs and line-ups, maps, economy and match format. A running career can move forward an era between seasons, keeping its squad, its trophies and its rivalries.
