Kato Seminar Offline is an offline playback app for students of Kato Seminar, an online preparatory school for the bar exam and preliminary examination.

Offline playback refers to the ability to temporarily save online videos to a computer, smartphone, or other device and play them even without an internet connection. YouTube and Netflix offer this same feature.
This allows Kato Seminar students to take Kato Seminar lectures anytime, anywhere, regardless of whether they have an online connection or not.

We are an online preparatory school specializing in the bar exam and preliminary examination.

In 2024, just three years after opening, we had helped 356 students pass the exam.

Every year, Kato Seminar produces numerous students with top single-digit or double-digit overall scores. In particular, the seminar continues to achieve outstanding results in the area of ​​labor law, with courses taught by Kato Seminar representative and instructor Takashi Kato, who himself achieved the highest ranking in labor law (39th overall), consistently producing first- and second-place labor law passers.

Kato Seminar is promoting a digital shift in its learning system to accommodate the computer-based testing of the bar exam and preliminary examination starting in 2026, providing a cutting-edge learning environment.

In addition to this app, we will release a completely free short-answer exam preparation tool, the "Short Answer Provisions and Case Law Library" (July 10, 2025), and plan to release a proprietary CBT system (end of July 2025).
