The app is for anyone who wants to improve English, read English address on a wide range of topics, expand English vocabulary and understand English language and culture better.
The app offers you English language articles in a wide range of news, cultural, work, business, sports, fashion, economics and finance, culture, health and more.
A significant advantage is that the texts are authentic and deal with real issues that interest us here in Israel (as opposed to study texts written for study purposes only). The articles were selected by the Jerusalem Post's English Teachers and Teachers team, and adapted to the digital format for maximum reading and learning convenience.
In the Jpost Lite app you can find articles of varying degrees of difficulty - so you can read content that interests you and is tailored to your English level.
One Star Articles - The Easiest Level
Two Star Articles - Medium Level
Three Star Articles - Highest Level
You can choose the level that suits you with the asterisks that appear next to each story, and track your progress between the different levels.
In addition, in each article, the words boxed in red are marked, and clicking on a word shows its translation into Hebrew according to the context of the article and its role in the sentence. When you finish reading, you can test yourself, and see if you remember the new vocabulary. The app recognizes and remembers the articles you have already read, and tests you on the new vocabulary learned in each one with a Q&A game.
Some of the articles in the app include read-aloud recording of the text, so you can read and listen at the same time.
For optimal and targeted use - please set your interests and English level as soon as the app is downloaded so we can show you tailor-made content for you.

גרוע. שיעורים חסרי תועלת. בכל שיחה יש "מורה" אחר, כלומר כל שיחה זו שיחת היכרות. אי אפשר לתרגל שיחות נורמליות. התייאשתי אחרי 10 שיעורים. עד שהתקשרתי לבטל לצערי עברה שנה והם לא נותנים החזר. (הייתי ברילוקציה בחול במשך חצי שנה ולכן לא מיהרתי לבטל. זו הסיבה גם למה התעניינתי בשירות). הבהרה: לא השתמשתי באפליקציה. הביקורת היא רק בהקשר של השיעורים עצמם ואיכות השירות. דגש: שירות גרוע. יהיה עדיף לקחת שיעורי אנגלית פרטיים מגוף אחר. כך גם יהיה אפשר לעקוב אחרי ההתקדמות.
