In a landscape where mobile games are just mobile ad hell, it is nice to see a game without it. To put simply, this is the classic game of snake without any added features or gimmicks for good or bad. you can disable sound, vibration, difficulty, control scheme, and the color scheme. that's it. my only real complaint here is the lack of options for control schemes. even if they simply added the ability to change sizing of the H and F scheme controlls, it would be an easy 5 stars.

I wish the arrow keys were closer together and also did NOT obstruct the game screen. I am currently making my own classic snake game and will definitely keep that in mind. wanted to try what's out there first for mobile options. I would prefer if the score was moved to the bottom and then the arrow keys could be in the middle of that bar, minimizing taking up more game space. also, a joystick type of control could have potential? user keeps their finger in the middle as neutral

No ads, no bloat, it is just a simple Snake app, and that's exactly what I wanted out of it. Wish there were more apps like this. The only thing I notice is that occasionally with the D-Pad controls, it feels like if I press two inputs too quickly, one of the two fails to register for a short time. (ie, if I press up-left very quickly, it will only get the up and then left won't work for a few moves). This may very well just be me thinking I'm hitting the button though.
