I love that this app has no ads! It would be even better if the instructions on how to calibrate were on the app. I did find them here on the PlayStore listing, however. I don't have the equipment needed to calibrate, so it doesn't matter anyways! Just glad to have something to help me preserve my hearing by avoiding excessive noise levels. Thanks!!!

No adds. Thank you The thing at the top telling you what ever day sound matches your current spl is annoying. It moves around way too much, distracting your eyes. For me even an analog style graphic is annoying. Mimum screen motion is ideal, all I want is the number. I have not done any tests to check the accuracy of the reading. I was bullied into writing this review by the app notifications which happened like 4 times while having the app for 20 mins This is way better than having ads thanks

Pretty decent sound level meter. I adjusted it a bit, to bring it to agreement with my pro-level meter...but it was fairly accurate as downloaded. I really like the fact that the app doesn't require a bunch of unrelated permissions. It doesn't have a lot of fancy features, but then again - why would it need them? It is simple and effective. Well done.
