Just Drafts started as a quiet place to capture a thought before it disappears. It grew into a comprehensive note-taking workspace for writing, checklists, code, PDFs, images, audio recordings, video files and more.

📋 Give your ideas room to grow

Build your note from individual blocks, then rearrange them as your ideas develop. Drag toward the top or bottom to scroll through longer drafts.

Select multiple blocks to move them into another active draft or delete them together. Keep a short note simple, or organize a longer one into clear sections.

Titles can be generated from your opening words or renamed whenever you want. Search your drafts, pin important notes, archive finished work and recover deleted notes from Trash.

📄 Read PDFs. Sign a copy. Keep the original.

Read PDFs inside your draft. Place, resize or rotate a signature, then save the signed PDF as a separate attachment. Your original stays unchanged.

Browse attached and inline files together. Export copies to a destination you choose without changing the originals in your note.

Open a whole draft or an individual block in full screen. Choose your font and text size, including monospace options. Switch between Write and Use modes to suit what you are doing.

The code editor saves and edits snippets; it does not execute code.

Lock a whole draft or individual blocks to prevent accidental edits. Master Draft Lock overrides individual controls while preserving their saved lock settings.

Drafts are stored locally and remain usable offline. The trial includes optional app protection, encrypted storage and backups, and up to ten saved versions per draft.

Connect Google Drive or Dropbox for optional backup and restore, or create local backups.

Cloud connections are not required to write or use your drafts. Backup and restore are not live collaboration or automatic conflict-free synchronization.
