One main word. Five seconds. And one word that hasn't been said before.
"SEA" is revealed. Your turn. Will you say blue or wave? Wait, your friends have already said both. The timer is ticking: 3... 2...
Your Turn is an association game that tests your Turkish vocabulary under pressure. Players take turns writing a word related to the main word. A word used cannot be used again. The player whose time runs out is eliminated. The last one remaining wins the round.
How to play
1. A main word is revealed in each round: SEA, COFFEE, SPACE, KITCHEN, FOREST, FOOTBALL...
2. When it's your turn, write a single related word.
3. You have five seconds. A wrong word won't eliminate you, but it will waste your time.
4. Used words are not accepted. Words derived from the same root are also not counted: if "wave" is present, "wavy" is not accepted.
5. The player whose time runs out is out. The last player remaining wins the round.
The first rounds are easy. Blue, salty, fish, sand. But as the pool fills, easy words run out, and by the fourth round you find yourself searching for "tide" or "buoy." The difficulty isn't artificially increased; it increases spontaneously.
Play with friends
Create a room, share a four-letter code, and everyone joins from their own phone. At the same table or remotely. You can fill in the missing spaces with bots, so even with only two people, a full table is set up. If your connection drops, you can return to the game from where you left off.
Points come from rarity
Everyone else finds a word that earns you few points. If you find something nobody else has thought of, your points increase exponentially. The goal isn't just to survive, but to find something others haven't considered. That's why the game is more of a creativity contest than a quiz.
No need to wait your turn
You can write your word while it's someone else's turn; your word is ready. But if someone says it before you, your word turns red, and you have to find something new. That's exactly the moment in the game: "I was going to write that too."
Game Modes
Classic: 5 seconds, three rounds, last one standing wins.
Blitz: 3 seconds. No time to think.
Calm: 10 seconds. To warm up or play comfortably.
Word of the Day: 90 seconds alone. The same word for everyone, how many can you find?
Written for Turkish
You don't have to use a Turkish keyboard. Both "denız" and "deniz" are accepted.
Suffixes are processed correctly. "Balık" is not mistakenly counted as "bal," and "tuzlu" and "tuz" are considered to be in the same family.
Minor spelling errors are forgiven. If you misspell a word even though you know the correct word, the game will not penalize you.
The dictionary was hand-prepared for Turkish associations. It is not a machine-translated word list.
You have time for a game
On the subway, in line, during a tea break, between classes. A game lasts between two and four minutes. It fits perfectly between the moment you take your phone out of your pocket and the moment you put it back.
The game is based on speed, creativity, vocabulary, memory, and thinking under pressure. It's not about how much you know, but how much you can recall in those five seconds.
You have five seconds. No retakes.
