JUTE-SMART 2.0 is the official digital platform of the Office of the Jute Commissioner, under the Ministry of Textiles, Government of India, developed to streamline procurement, inspection, dispatch, compliance monitoring, and reporting across the Indian jute sector.
The platform strengthens transparency, accountability, and real-time monitoring of activities under the Jute Packaging Materials (Compulsory Use in Packing Commodities) Act, 1987 and the Jute & Jute Textiles Control Order, 2016.
JUTE-SMART 2.0 digitally connects all key stakeholders in the jute ecosystem, enabling seamless coordination between regulatory authorities and operational entities.
