Simplicity is a minimalist digital watch face built around two arcing gauges that frame a clean, centred time display. It favours thin lines, generous negative space, and a small, deliberate set of accent colours over dense information density.

Simplicity was a working concept I had that was ported over from a previous app. It is now reworked and optimized for the Watch Face Format. Now with granular customizations with colour, and complication placement to help you personalize your face.

SEVEN COMPLICATION SLOTS
A notification counter above the time, the two gauges, three small icon slots along the bottom, and a day of the week line beneath them. Every slot is optional and reassignable to any compatible app, so Simplicity works as a bare minimalist clock or a full information watch face.

INDIVIDUAL COLOURS FOR ACCENTS AND BACKGROUNDS
Mix and match them independently. From stark white on black to a range of soft pastel light themes (Desert cream, Blush, Powder, Sage, Lilac), each with a matching muted accent. The date always sits under the clock; day of week and a second time zone are available as complications, so nothing is shown twice.

TRUE-BLACK AMBIENT
When your wrist drops, the background goes pure black no matter your theme, the time dims to a soft grey, and the decorative lines disappear. Easy on an AMOLED screen in always-on display, and great for battery life.

GETTING STARTED
Press and hold the current watch face and tap Edit, or pick Simplicity from the Watch Face Format list on your phone. Tap any complication to choose its data source.

Wear OS 4 or later with Watch Face Format.
