Fifteen moves. That is all you get.
Nine High is a number puzzle about spending a budget you cannot refill. Drag your finger across touching numbers of the same value — sideways, up, down, or diagonally — and the whole chain disappears when you lift your finger. The longer and higher the chain, the more it is worth.
THE MATH THAT MAKES IT HURT
Your score for a chain is the square of what it adds up to. Three nines are worth 729. Ten ones are worth 100. High numbers are rare and scattered, low numbers are everywhere and nearly worthless.
So every turn you face the same question: do you spend a move clearing junk to slide two nines together, or do you take the safe points now? You only have fifteen. There is no timer, so think as long as you like — but the moves never come back.
HOW TO PLAY
Drag through touching tiles of the same number. Diagonals count, which means chains wind across the board instead of turning square corners.
Lift your finger to clear the chain and score. Tiles above fall down, new ones drop in from the top, and the board is never empty.
Chains that form on their own do not clear themselves. If you want them, you pay a move.
