About this app

Remember the warm click of a tape sliding into the deck? Mixtape brings that feeling back. It's a beautifully crafted, skeuomorphic cassette player for the music already on your phone — with spinning reels, mechanical buttons, and a glowing VU meter that dances to the beat.

No accounts. No streaming. No clutter. Just your music, your tapes, your vibe.

▶ A REAL CASSETTE, ON YOUR SCREEN
Watch the reels turn as the tape plays. Tap the chunky PLAY, STOP, REWIND and fast-forward keys like an old hi-fi deck.

🎵 PLAYS YOUR LOCAL MUSIC
Scan your device or pick a folder to import your MP3s. Build playlists and press play. Everything works offline — your files never leave your phone.

🎙 BUILT-IN VOICE RECORDER
Capture voice memos, ideas or rehearsals. Drop position markers, rename them, and jump straight to any moment.

🎚 LOCK-SCREEN & BLUETOOTH CONTROLS
Control playback from your lock screen, skip tracks from your AirPods or any Bluetooth headphones.
