About this app

TraceCheck helps you check an Android phone for known stalkerware clues and high-risk surveillance patterns — privately, on the device itself.

Hidden tracking apps can be hard to notice. Some may not show a normal home-screen icon. TraceCheck compares what’s on your phone with a local list of known stalkerware indicators and also looks for common warning signs, such as risky permission combinations, Accessibility abuse, Device Admin access, or apps that hide their icons.

How it works

3. TraceCheck reviews installed items on that Android device
4. It compares them with a bundled indicator list and risk patterns
5. Review the results as information to help your own decision-making

TraceCheck is meant to help you better protect your own privacy. It is not intended to target, investigate, accuse, or monitor another person. It is a personal awareness tool, not a law-enforcement product and not a way to prove wrongdoing about someone else.

Important: results are for information only
TraceCheck does not guarantee it will find every malicious, harmful, or unwanted app. A clean result does not mean the phone is guaranteed safe. A flagged result does not automatically prove that someone is being tracked. Stay vigilant, review suspicious app behavior, and use the Guide for manual checks.

Android only
TraceCheck is available for Android devices only. There is no iPhone or iPad version, because Apple’s App Store and iOS privacy rules do not allow this kind of installed-app scan.
