About this app

NOOR helps your child build a daily Quran habit they look forward to.

Kids aged 5 to 14 learn Noorani Qaida and memorize surahs through adventure quests. They solve vocabulary puzzles, match Arabic words, fill in missing letters, answer Tajweed questions. Every correct answer earns XP. Every quest unlocks a new part of the map. They keep coming back because the next land is waiting.

Memorization sessions break surahs into small batches. Your child listens, repeats, and the app tracks which verses they got right and which need more practice. Up to 15 verses per day, paced so they retain what they learn.

You see all of it from the parent dashboard. Study time, accuracy, completed sessions, the specific mistakes your child made. Daily reminders help them stay consistent. You can switch to child mode and see exactly what they see.

NOOR requires a subscription. One plan, full access, ad-free.

Plans are available quarterly and yearly.

What your child learns

Noorani Qaida Basics. Letters, reading fundamentals, Tajweed rules. Your child starts here.

Memorization (Hifz). Structured sessions with mistake tracking and review. The app brings back verses they struggled with until they stick.

How they learn it

Adventure quests. Three paths: Alphabet, Noorani Rules, Al-Quran. Each quest is a hands-on exercise. Vocabulary challenges, word matching, fill-in-the-blank, multiple choice, true or false. Kids earn XP, level up, unlock new lands, collect badges.

What you see as a parent

Weekly progress. Accuracy breakdowns. Session history. The mistakes your child made and how they improved over time. A child-mode preview so nothing is hidden from you. Daily practice reminders you can configure.

Ad-free. Your child and the Quran, nothing else.

I paid for this subscription but the audio isn't too good. I could hear my kid's pronunciation matched the voice well, but it still wasn't recorded as correct. She gave up on the app from the first week of use, so how come I'm still getting messages in my inbox saying she's doing a good job??

Sorry for the frustration this caused. Audio accuracy can be affected by device or environment, and weโ€™re actively improving it. The messages you received are automated encouragements, which we understand can feel confusing. Please share your email with us and weโ€™ll apply a free plan to your account.

Access denied Why do you need access to media and photos?? In your answer that you e-mailed me after I emailed you the screen shots of the permission needed, you mention the need to save different Athan than the default ones. I don't buy this excuse, I think you shouldn't be asking for permission othe than the location. Still one Star.

Hi Kami, thanks for the feedback. The version youโ€™re talking about was an older build โ€” we donโ€™t request contacts access now. The media/storage permission was only to let users save a custom adhan sound and it never gave us access to personal photos. If youโ€™re still seeing something that feels wrong, please email us at m@noor.vip
