They contacted me before when I posted a bad experience on the app saying that they unpublished the post because it's not in Japanese! Their guideline says we can't post a bad experience and we need to take it with the restaurant owners! Then only good posts are allowed! that's weird policy!

Very effective to find good restaurants. Their option to make reservations is also very convenient. Their English could be better.

Totally untrustworthy, do not trust these reviews. Tabelog is famous for its bought review system - for example, you cannot leave a negative review on Tabelog, no matter how bad the service was; and no matter how good it was, you can't reach highest marks without paying them. A terrible scam. Just use Google Reviews for restaurant tips in Japan, much more reliable.
