Complete your mandatory state boating education requirement with iLearnToBoat's Interactive Boating Course. Earn your state-approved certificate by going on an adventure!

Developed to support students enrolled in iLearnToBoat's Official Interactive Boating Safety Course, this app is the mobile companion to the web-based course.

The iLearnToBoat interactive course is built around a branching-narrative story called “The Mystery of Kalkomey Island” where you'll complete your boating safety education requirements by joining four friends as they embark on a boating adventure encountering storms, boat thieves, and a mysterious island.

While completing the course, you'll make real real-world boating decisions, as you unlock a series of immersive, role player learning activities timed to occur at relevant points as boating adventure story unfolds.

Each learning activity is aligned to a specific student performance objective and features a robust learning engine that teaches, assesses, and provides remediation based on your input.

This innovative approach to online education was developed using research in cognitive and behavioral science to create a highly motivational learning experience.

The iLearnToBoat interactive course is the first and only interactive course that meets The National Association of State Boating Law Administrators (NASBLA) requirements for interactive learning aligned to the American National Standards Basic Boating Knowledge—Power.

I can't log in on the app. Says my password or username is incorrect with no options for different logins or to change it. Update: I just used a desktop over app. Overall, the training itself teaches you what you need to know. I personally am not a fan of the storytelling, but I can see how playing out each scenario is a more helpful learning process.

I never got the mystery figured out. the dialogue was so slow and boring I just skipped thru it. I think it was intended that the story would intrigue the student to pay more attention, but for me it caused me to check out and just skip past everything, probably missed some good info. wish it had been focused more on boater safety and less on the mystery island

Good fast-tracked way to get your boaters license however the fact that there's a storyline littered with dorky dialogue that in no way relates to boater safety is incredibly frustrating, especially when it drastically slows down the process of getting certified. Also the app is more expensive than other methods of obtaining your boaters license.
