Marinate is a chartplotter that works when nothing else does — no signal, no marina wifi, thirty miles offshore.

Download your cruising area before you leave the dock and the whole app keeps working: the chart, your routes, the depth contours, the reference tables. There is no account to create and no sign-up screen — open it and you are navigating.

★ OFFLINE VECTOR CHARTS
Seamarks, buoys, lights, depth contours and soundings, drawn as vectors so they stay sharp at any zoom and cost a fraction of the storage that image tiles do. Download by area or along a route corridor. Optional NOAA official chart overlay for US waters.

★ AN ANCHOR WATCH THAT ACTUALLY WAKES YOU
Set your anchor and a safety radius and Marinate watches your position in the background, with the screen off. If the boat drifts outside the circle it raises a continuous siren, not one polite notification. A dragging anchor at 3 a.m. is the moment an app either earns its place or does not.

★ SAFETY IS NOT AN UPSELL
Man overboard is one tap: marker dropped, position frozen, range and bearing back to it. The MOB button and the anchor drag alarm are free forever.

Marinate is an aid to navigation, not a replacement for official charts, a proper lookout or your own judgement. Carry the charts your flag state requires. Continued use of GPS in the background can decrease battery life.
