I've had this device for a few years now. I've only changed the batteries 3 times. Simple set up. It has started to act up lately though. Many times it doesn't record when its suppose to and the motion icon/set up is really acting up from normal to extra. I have to reset it daily as the sun goes down. Picks up movement at least 80 feet away, and then misses movements from 2 feet away. Pictures are not always clear yet still does its job. I fear I may have to upgrade soon to a newer model.

I had purchased the camera and less than a month later it stopped working. I went back and fourth with "customer support" for over a month. Wish I was kidding. I ended up cutting my losses and moved on. For the couple weeks I had the camera it worked well for the price point, but the issues I had with support were exhausting and disappointing. Not worth the trouble.

Not good, not bad. App fails to record most things, motion or sound. Had it for about a year now and I'm done with its bull. Yes, I turned the sensitivity up and drew the detection boxes, yet still it fails to record most motion and sounds. You're better off getting something a little more expensive, as you get what you pay for. Kangaroo is probably one of the lowest tiers of security camera available. Keep that in mind if you're considering buying one.
