About this app

Karaoke Sync is a karaoke lyric maker for your phone. Import a song, paste the lyrics, and tap along to time each line. Then sing, record, or export your timed lyrics as an LRC file, SRT subtitles and more.

Want to sing right away? The Karaoke tab has thousands of songs with synced lyrics, ready to go.

MAKE KARAOKE LYRICS FOR ANY SONG
• Import an audio file (MP3, M4A, WAV, FLAC, AAC), a video from your device (MP4, MOV, M4V), or a YouTube link
• Paste the lyrics, or paste timed LRC lyrics and keep their timing
• Add a translation under each line
• Tap once as each line starts to sync lyrics to the song
• Fine-tune any line in 0.1-second steps, with preview, loop and half speed
• Shift a whole section at once when the song drifts

WORD-BY-WORD TIMING
• Switch to Words and each line's words are placed on a timeline for you
• Drag the ones that are off, zoom in for fast passages, undo any move
• Copy Timing applies one line's word timing to every line with the same words
• Split words into syllables, mark lines for two singers, and let lines overlap
• Lyrics highlight one word at a time as you sing

EXPORT YOUR TIMED LYRICS
• LRC and Enhanced LRC (word-level) for music players and karaoke apps
• SRT subtitles for video editors
• CSV for spreadsheets
• Smule format: lyrics wrapped to fit Smule's lyrics editor, with timestamps as a guide. Timing is set again in Smule.
Files save to your Downloads folder.

SING AND RECORD
• Record your voice over the music, or film yourself with the front camera
• Hear yourself live through wired headphones
• Adjust voice level and voice sync after recording
• Export your voice and the music as an M4A mix, or your voice on its own as a WAV file

LYRIC VIDEOS
• Make an MP4 video of the song or a recorded take, with 1, 2 or 4 lyric lines on screen
• Choose the font, size, color and animation, and add a background behind the lyrics
• Karaoke animation fills in each word as it is sung, on word-timed lines

VOICE EFFECTS
Six effects for your recordings, each unlocked with 100 tokens earned in the app.

PRACTICE MODE
Rehearse without recording. Tap any line to jump to that part of the song.

• Search by artist or song
• Filter by Vocals or Karaoke (instrumental) versions
• Save favorites and request songs

GAMES, QUIZZES AND FACTS
• Finish the Lyric and Lyric Order with your projects or thousands of songs
• AI song quizzes at Easy, Medium and Hard, plus song facts
• The Play tab's songs are not available in every region

TOKENS
Earn tokens from a daily streak, new projects, exports, games, quizzes, song requests and short ads. Spend them on karaoke songs, extra song unlocks, bonus exports and voice effects.

GOOD TO KNOW
• Karaoke Sync does not remove vocals. For a backing track, import an instrumental version or pick a Karaoke version in the catalog.
• Timing is done by hand, one tap per line. The app does not listen to the song to place lyrics.
• Recordings made over a YouTube video contain only your voice, because YouTube sound is never captured.
• Only import songs and videos you have the right to use.

PRIVACY
Your projects, imported audio and video, and recordings stay on your device and are never uploaded. No account needed. The app goes online for the karaoke and quiz catalogs, synced lyrics, YouTube videos, ads, purchases, and usage and crash statistics.

FREE AND PRO
Free: up to 10 projects, every export format, and 10 exports without ads. After that, each export takes a short ad or 25 tokens. Karaoke songs unlock with a short ad or 2 tokens. 10 song unlocks a month in the Play tab. Includes ads.
Pro ($0.99 a month or $5.99 a year in the US): no ads, unlimited projects and exports, 100 song unlocks a month in the Play tab, and karaoke songs for 1 token.
