Edulog’s Parent Portal is a self-service app that allows you to track your child’s assigned transportation from his or her school. Know what routes and vehicles have been assigned to your child, complete with planned pickup and dropoff locations and times. Track in real time your child’s bus’s position. know when to send your child to the bus stop to avoid waiting in bad weather. Configure notifications to alert you when your child’s bus is nearing pickup or dropoff.

Sometimes it just stops showing the bus location and App needs restart. Interface could be designed better. Sluggish navigation. Yesterday, it suddenly stopped sending notifications and had to update to the latest version today. Wish we could setup multiple notifications for same bus for different distances from bus dropoff/pickup point.

I like the ability to see the bus location. But it does not appear to refresh the location automatically. I would really like a refresh button if tracking is not in real time. My work around has been to force close the app and re-ooen it. I do not use notifications as the bus goes past us then doubles back for pickup. Zoom behavior could also be improved.

App used to work okay, now it just doesn't display my bus. So back to watching for the bus to send kids out in low temps. When it was working, it worked, but with many little annoyances. Zooming doesn't work well as it zooms out every time it tries to update the location. Which is every couple of seconds. It would lose track of the bus at random times before finding it again later. Which made it so you could never know if the bus was delayed or the app was just screwing up.
