Edulog’s Parent Portal is a self-service app that allows you to track your child’s assigned transportation from his or her school. Know what routes and vehicles have been assigned to your child, complete with planned pickup and dropoff locations and times. Track in real time your child’s bus’s position. know when to send your child to the bus stop to avoid waiting in bad weather. Configure notifications to alert you when your child’s bus is nearing pickup or dropoff.

When it works!! When the app is working it's great. I used to get notifications when the bus was so far away from my sons pick up but now it notifies me when it's near the school and near pick up but not just the specific amount I chose. I liked it much better with just the one notification that I selected and could change the radius. Would be nice if there was a "your bus is running really late" notification so you don't have to try and guess if your kid just missed the bus.

It's convenient, overall. I wish that the app would auto-zoom IN and not just OUT (or just nix the auto-zoom, all together); it re-adjusts every couple of seconds to include my child's school on the map but all I REALLY need to see is how far away the bus is from my house... so, the ux could use an actual user's perspective. The notifications are also a little hit or miss, I sometimes get notified that the bus is within the specified distance for pick-up or drop-off AFTER the bus has come/gone.

It does do the job of allowing me to track the bus, but everything else is clunky. I'd like to zoom in and not get the full county view, but it just zooms me back out after every refresh. Also switching between each of my 3 kids' buses is absolutely terrible, I'd love to have something in the "My Bus" section to select which kid's bus I want to see. I also really don't need to get notifications every time the bus enters the notification zone, even if it's not running my child's route.
