The app constantly freezes and I have to wait for my phone to detect it and ask me to fully kill it which can take a minute (swiping it closed doesn't work), which means sometimes I'm stuck outside my apartment building for several minutes trying to get in. Whenever i click to add a favorite it just unlocks the door instead of adding it to my favorites list. I also don't like there's no 'offline' way to unlock doors, so if your phone dies, you're out of luck.

Strongly dislike that my building management switched to this service. Strongly recommend avoiding it based on my experience over the past few months. The user interface is pretty old. The app is buggy and barely functions. Crashes a lot. I usually need to uninstall and install again to fix certain issues. I can't send guest QR codes the day that the are arriving due to an app bug. It's made getting into my complex difficult for me, guests, and delivery drivers.

Had to use this app while staying at a WhyHotel. UI looks barebones and sloppy, more like a hackathon project than a professional home security app. Basic functionality works ok, but gives outdated wrong info when checking lock status. (Says room is locked when it's not...HUGE security issue!!) Also annoyingly asks you for the same permissions every time you open it.

KastleResident 3.0 has optimizations and bug fixes for an improved user experience, along with support for Dormakaba locks and NFC (Near Field Communication).
