Katchly is a smart parental supervision and safety app designed to help families protect children in today’s digital world.

Katchly gives parents the tools they need to stay informed without completely restricting their child’s ability to connect.

• Take action when concerning behavior is detected

The goal is not constant surveillance, but early awareness. Parents remain in control while children remain connected.

💬 Safe Communication Environment

Katchly provides a structured messaging environment where users can share messages, photos, and videos. Media access is limited to user-selected content only — the app does not scan device storage in the background.

Safety systems are designed to identify potentially inappropriate content and risky communication patterns. When needed, parents are notified so they can intervene appropriately.

🛡️ Zero Tolerance for Exploitation

Katchly enforces a strict zero-tolerance policy against:

• Child sexual abuse material (CSAM)
• Grooming or exploitation
• Harassment or abusive behavior
• Any unlawful activity involving minors

Accounts that violate safety standards may be suspended or permanently removed. Where legally required, relevant information may be reported to appropriate authorities.

What’s new

There still was a lot of issues with how the sent - delivered - read icon was updated. I isolated the flow so the socket is running beside everything instead being nested inside other parts. All this work perfect on same wifi and in dev but had some issues in production. Hopefully this is all patched up and working now.
