Melodies of Praise is a lyrics based application containing 329 hymns. It's used in various churches or Christians gathering to sing hymns of praise to the Almighty God. It has the following features:
-329 hymns arranged as in the original hymn book.
-Hymns are also arranged alphabetically in the "Index" tab
-A perfect search working which you can search hymns by hymn number or hymn title
-You can share a particular hymn lyrics with your love ones via WhatsApp, Facebook, SMS, Bluetooth, Mail, etc
-You can add a particular hymn you like to the "Favourite" tab so that it can appear as your favourite hymn and you can still remove hymns that are no longer your favourite from the favourite tab.
-Provides a help page on how to navigate around the app
-Can install to External Storage or internal storage depending on your choice

Advanced features in the "Melodies of Praise Plus+" are:
-You can edit an existing hymn
-You can compose/add a new hymn/song to the app
-Deleting your own added hymn/song
-Editing your added hymn/song
-Choose whether screen stays on/off
-Changeing text font size, color, style, background color
-Most importantly, NO ADS in this app.

Ratings and reviews

After you recent update, most of the songs disappeared. 2ndly, someone should be able to type a line or phrase in the search bar and every song with that line or words should come up, making it easier to find songs. The indexing should be reviewed.

Most of the songs are not included in this application. Also excluded is the composer name and the scripture quotes. The old application is far better than this. You should bring back the old application please.

I payed for this app and it is not allowing me the option to compose. Instead it tells me i need to upgrade to the plus version. Thanks in advance for a solution
