NoteMagic is a fast, local-first notes app built for people who want their notes to actually be theirs — stored on your device, not locked into someone else's cloud by default.

WRITE NOTES THAT DO MORE
• Rich text — bold, italic, underline, strikethrough, and color
• Checklists, bulleted lists, and numbered lists — convert freely between them any time
• Embed photos right in your notes, not just as attachments
• Inline links you can open, edit, or remove
• Organize with categories and pin your most important notes

STAY IN CONTROL OF YOUR DATA
• Everything is stored locally by default — nothing leaves your device unless you choose to
• Lock individual notes behind your PIN, or fully encrypt a note's content with its own password
• Full backup & restore to a single file, including your photos — take your notes with you, or move to a new device, whenever you want
• Export/import in plain Markdown if you'd rather keep things simple and portable

NEVER LOSE TRACK
• Set one-time reminders on any note
• Archive notes you're not using, or find them again in the trash before they're gone for good
• Search by title or content, with case-sensitive and regex options when you need them

• Read Aloud turns any note into speech — pick a voice, adjust the speed, and set your own pauses
• On-device voices by default; online voices are available but always opt-in

What’s new

Voice input: dictate into any note with the mic button (say "new line" to start a new line or checklist item). Notes now automatically resume right where you left off if the app closes unexpectedly. Added a Category Summary screen, reorganized the note editor's overflow menu, and fixed attachment sharing issues (filenames, MIME types, Google Drive text loss).
