Overall was pleased with the phone app for entering data when my iPad was unavailable. However, videos and photos could take a very long time to upload especially when I was off wifi. As for the iPad app, I had very few issues with it and found it very user friendly for collecting photos and videos of students. I specifically liked how the iPad user interface matched the online version and I could see my data collection overall, my story boards, my rosters, and portfolios from the app.

Love Kaymbu!! I use it on a daily basis. I work in a Wobbler room (ages 9-16 months). The pictures I've taken, of some very precious moments, have been displayed, very creatively, for all to see. It's very easy to use and has made working the curriculum, fun and simple. It's a handy tool to connect with parents, with concerns, information, or just to let them know how their child is doing. I have used Kaymbu as the main mode of communication with families of children in my care. It is user friendly as you are able to add anecdotes, as well as documentation captured in photos. It is a great reference point for lesson planning. It also allows one to review an area where a child may need extra support. Families are able to get a glimpse of their child's day, sometimes immediately when applicable. It is a wonderful resource and tool!
