Maps, Logbooks, and a Community for Scuba Divers
Kdiver is an app that displays dive shops and dive sites on a single globe. You can view locations seamlessly on one screen, from Korea to the Philippines, Egypt, and the Maldives, without having to switch between countries.
You can view maps and information without logging in.
■ Globe Map
1,900 dive sites, 700 dive shops, 32 countries.
· Depth, topography, currents, and marine life visible at each site
· Location, contact information, price list, and reviews from visitors at each shop
· Actual travel routes and travel times from the airport to the shop
· Routes for 130 liveaboards
The information is compiled by Korean divers who have personally visited the sites, and any inaccuracies can be corrected by submitting reports.
** ■ Logbook
· Shearwater, Suunto, Garmin, Mares, etc. — Import files exported from the app
· Standard formats such as UDDF
· Manual input is supported as is
It reads depth profiles, decompression data, tank pressure, and even gas used. If you upload photos as a folder, they are automatically assigned to each dive based on the time of capture.
As your logs accumulate, a passport map is created featuring flags from the countries you have visited.
■ Finding Travel Companions
For those days when traveling alone feels awkward.
· Go to the Sea Together — Open up dates and locations to recruit people to go with
· Go to the Pool Together — Weekday evening practice, instructor verification displayed
· Applications, approvals, and 1:1 chats
■ Clubs
· Chat among members, bulletin boards, and schedules
· Polls used for scheduling (location/date)
· A record of our club’s trips is plotted on a globe
■ Field Guide and Equipment Box
· Creatures seen underwater — Find them by appearance even if you don't know their names
· Fill your personal field guide by writing entries in the log
· Register your gear in the equipment box and group it into sets to log all at once
· Weight Calculator — Calculate weights by directly importing information from the equipment box
■ Privacy
Choose from three options for your dive log:
· Private — Only you can see it
· Anonymous — Records are shared but your name is not attached
· Nickname Visible — Along with your profile
Diaries are visible only to you, even in public logs. You can also turn off photo visibility, nickname search exposure, and buddy tag permission individually.
You can delete your account and data directly within the app. ■ It is free
There are no ads, and no payment features. The map information has been filled in directly by divers and will continue to grow in this way.
