I found this app by searching for free tax filing apps. I went through the app, filling out a basic 1099 form with no deductions. The app was easy to use, and I was able to get through the process of filling out the form relatively painlessly. The two star review is due to the fact that once I completed the form, I was unable to file my return without signing up for one of the app's subscriptions. The least expensive subscription they offer is $199 / year. So basically I wasted my time.

Keeper used to text you right after a purchase and ask if it was a business expense. You could reply yes or no and it would log the deduction instantly. It turned expense tracking into something you handled in seconds instead of something you had to sit down and do later. It was a game changer. And we need it back

I've used keeper for the past few years and I've loved it but this price increase is crazy work. 399 is out of bounds. People if you are looking for something similar where you pay a lot less and Use the app called Found very similar at a third of the cost. 4 years of filing taxes on here for you to lose a customer for greed is very stupid and no matter what they tell you it doesn't justify the cost increase.
