The municipality of Merano has set up the women's night taxi together with the municipalities of Algund, Lana, Marling, Tscherms, Riffian, Kuens, Tirol, Partschins and Schenna. Every woman who is at least 16 years old and resides in one of the ten participating communities can use the women's night taxi service up to 52 times a year.

After a journey between 8.30 p.m. and 6 a.m., the taxi driver will give the woman a voucher worth € 5.50 and a receipt. The vouchers must be returned to the municipality in which the woman resides within 31 January of the following calendar year. The amount of € 5.50 per voucher will be paid directly by the responsible staff after presenting an identity card and the receipt for the trip.
Payment in the municipality of Merano is made in the Citizens' Office (room A1 on the ground floor of the town hall).

A women's night taxi can be used by up to four women at the same time. In this case, however, only a voucher is given to the last woman who leaves the taxi.
The trips of the women's night taxi cannot be combined with those of the senior taxi. Women over 70 can also redeem a maximum of 52 vouchers per year.
