Everything is processed on your device
KeepNinja never uploads your files anywhere, and no server or AI service sees them. It has no analytics and no crash reporting. It uses the internet only for the optional videos in the free version and to check KeepNinja Plus.
How it works
• Scan: KeepNinja scans the photos, videos and audio files it can access, then sorts them into categories. After the first scan, it checks for new media whenever you open the app.
• Review and mark: Review your files one at a time or in a grid. Mark anything you want to remove with a simple tap or swipe. Files you do not mark remain untouched.
• Organize while you review: Want to keep a file but put it somewhere else? Tap Move and choose a folder, or create a new one, without leaving your review.
• Decide when you are ready: Your marked files collect in Marked for removal. Nothing is deleted automatically, and your marks do not expire. Review them all in one place. If you change your mind about a file, unmark it.
• Delete when you are sure: Ready to let go? Tap Delete forever and confirm the deletion request. Deleted files do not go to the device's trash and cannot be restored.
What KeepNinja finds
• By month and By folder: every photo and video, one month or one folder at a time. Complete review saves your choices and opens the next month or folder still to review.
• Large videos and Large photos: files over a size you choose.
• Duplicates: groups of copies of the same photo.
• Similar shots: groups of photos that look alike, taken a short time apart. You choose how alike they must be.
• Screenshots and Screen recordings: the pictures and videos taken of your screen.
• Audio: music, voice notes and recordings, one folder at a time. Listen to a file before you decide what to keep.
Compare similar photos side by side
In Duplicates and Similar shots, tap Compare to see two photos at once. One pinch zooms both photos together, so you can check details such as focus or closed eyes. In Duplicates, a Recommended badge shows which copy to keep and why, when it can.

• The main buttons sit on the side of the hand you use most.
• On a wide screen, a list and what you open from it show side by side.

Free, with every feature
The free version has every feature of the app. Deleting and moving files up to 6 months old is always free. For older files, unlock their days in the Cleanup calendar: each optional short video you watch to the end earns a reward, up to 6 a day, and each reward unlocks 10 days with files. You get 3 rewards to start.
If you have no time for videos and want to finish your cleanup now, KeepNinja Plus lets you delete or move everything KeepNinja finds, whatever its age, with no videos. Choose a 1-month pass, a 1-year pass or a one-time purchase. Nothing renews by itself.
