The KEF Connect app gives you complete control over your musical experience, embracing and enhancing your listening habits. The intuitive interface gives you the freedom to:

- Easily onboard your KEF wireless speaker to your network
- Access all the music in the world through services including Spotify, TIDAL, Amazon Music, Qobuz, Deezer, Internet Radio and Podcasts
- Control playback, volume and input source selection
- Optimise your listening experience through Speaker Sound Settings – adjust the output of the speaker to better suit the room and your personal taste
- Customise settings such as sleep timer, auto-wake up source and child lock

Note: KEF Connect is only compatible with KEF wireless speaker products using the W2 platform. For earlier platform products (LS50 Wireless/LSX), please use KEF Control and KEF Stream.

I hooked mine up to my Mac Studio M4 Max via USB and added a Speedwoofer 10e sub. They sound great when they work, but having to fire up an app on my phone, connect through wifi, search for the right KEF from a list (two were added to my sound settings) and tweak a few settings in the app just to wake the sub up every few songs is a no go for me. I would love these if i could just hook them up directly to the computer and never need a app. I will be returning them due to the frustration factor.

ok, I understand all the 1-star reviews here. people are frustrated because the app disconnects. I just got my LS50s, and yes I had a couple moments of turning the app on/off, turning the speakers on/off to get the wifi connection re-established again. But it works now, though I have to press the "cast" button inside Deezer sometimes to make sure it goes to the speakers and not the phone. I'm on Android, the speakers appeared in my Google Home, and I have a simple wifi setup (no mesh).

No doubt the app is extremely sensitive to Wi-Fi signal changes. the work around I found, if you're using a mesh system, is limiting the speaker to 5 gigahertz band and preventing it from roaming between different meshes. Just pick the closest and strongest satellite. Do the same for the handheld device. Basically lock'em together. Also, the app takes some times to sync with Wi-Fi while the speakers never disconnects. Meanwhile, you get no speaker msg.So be patient.
